Have fun! Chicago Memorial Day Weekend!

 The first holiday of the season is here. It is the Memorial weekend! I don’t know about you, but I LOVE Chicago in Spring and Summer (Fall and Winter also).  There is always something to do.  Below you will find some things going on this weekend.  If you know of other fun activities, please post and share with all.

1. Memorial Day Parade – Honoring all who defend our country.

          -When?    Saturday, May 25, 2013 11am-Noon

- Where?   State ST. from Lake ST. to Van Buren

This parade has long history and has graced the streets of Chicago since 1870.

2. Fireworks Cruise (Fireworks at Navy Pier 10:15 PM)

-When?    Saturday, May 25, 9:00 PM

          -Where?   600 E Grand Ave, Chicago Navy Pier
Navy Pier celebrates Memorial Day weekend with a one-hour Lake Fireworks Cruise, departing from Shoreline’s Navy Pier Dock. You can reserve boarding ticket through the below site. http://reservations.entertainmentcruises.com

 

3. The Randolph Street Market Festival. 

-When?    Sunday & Monday, May 26-27 10am-5pm

          -Where?   1340 W. Washington
This festival is European-style, indoor-outdoor urban antique market and this market has 200 select purveyors with furnishings, vintage clothing, jewelry, collectibles and more.

4. Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival.

-When?    Saturday & Sunday, May 25-26 Noon-10 pm

-Where?   On N. Sheffield from Belmont to School

The 29th annual Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival will again offer Chicago's outdoor street fest season over Memorial Day Weekend.
